Intro: Review Series: Garden Arrest, Sham Trial, Humiliated and Crucified

Notice what Jesus Does on the Cross

  1. Jesus Sees Mary’s Pain
    1. Jesus Cares about your struggle
      1. Sees your pain and knows your story

  1. Jesus knows Mary’s Past

  1. Jesus Cares about your Future
    1. Creator is also the Sustainer
      1. “Woman, here is your Son…Here is your Mother.”
      2. John can care for Mary, Spiritually the way James couldn’t.

  1. Jesus Cares for your future.
    1. He cares who surrounds you.
    2. Jesus cares who is influencing you.
    3. Jesus cares where you are.

  1. Jesus Makes us Family
    1. We are Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Sons and Daughters of the King.

  1. Family has obligation to care for one another.
    1. Acquaintances vs Family
    2. Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually
      1. Sometime that means entering some else’s mess.
