Announcements for 4-13-25

~This morning, our 4th Grade Class will be reciting The Books of the Bible.   Next week, our 2nd Grade Class will be reciting The Apostle’s Creed. Parents: please have your 2nd graders to their classroom by 9:15 AM. When they are finished, the children will join their families for the remainder of worship. Thank you!

~Family Fun Night at Air Madness! April 16, 2025 from 7-8 pm. ALL are welcome, regardless of age. Cost is $6/jumper (those not jumping may come in at no charge). Socks will be available for purchase at the door for $3.75. Intro: What is happening? Passover Week

  1. The Crowd
    1. Who is this Jesus?
      1. Jesus is a prophet

 

  1. Political Savior
  1. The World
    1. Who is this Jesus?
      1. Good Teacher: Bible = Rulebook for life
  1. Best of God’s Creation, but not God.
  1. A god friend: One that offers good advice (will be there if I need someone)
  1. How can we know Who Jesus is?
    1. Study his word (Revelation of who He is.)
      1. Eternal God: John 1:1-3
      2. Incarnation (God became Flesh): Who can ascend? (Psalm 24) 
      3. Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29)
      4. Redeemer: Isaiah 53:6
      5. King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 17:14)
      6. Loves You and offered himself for you. (Romans 5:8)
      7. Jesus promised to return for you to be with you. (John 14:1-4)
      8. Jesus will gather his people before the judgment of the world. (Rev. 14)
      9. Jesus will create a new heaven and new earth to live with His people forever. Revelation 21
  1. Spend time with him (Prayer, listening, inviting him into life)
