 Sermon outline:

Philippians 4:1-3         3 Aspects of a Unified Church

Intro: Reasons Church Divide: Theology, Preferences, Relationships

  1. Love One Another in the Lord.
    1. Mark of the Church is Love. (John 13:34-35)

  1. How do we love one another?
    1. Impossible to love one another without Jesus.
    2. Serve, Listen, Pray

If we do not love one another, our love for the world means nothing.

  1. Stand Firm in the Lord
    1. It’s not the storms of life, hurts and pains nor temptations that divide the church, but rather the lack of Foundation!

  1. Must stand on God’s Word.

  1. Must practice what God’s Word says.

  1. Be Reconciled in the Lord
    1. Unified church is not absent of trials, temptations nor pain, but practices Reconciliation.

  1. Reconciliation= Restoration of a Relationship.
    1. Eph. 4:26-27 Do not let your anger fester…Talk it out!
    2. Forgive one another as Christ forgives you.

  1. Reconciliation magnifies the witness and mission of the Church!
