Sermon outline:
Philippians 4:1-3 3 Aspects of a Unified Church
Intro: Reasons Church Divide: Theology, Preferences, Relationships
- Love One Another in the Lord.
- Mark of the Church is Love. (John 13:34-35)
- How do we love one another?
- Impossible to love one another without Jesus.
- Serve, Listen, Pray
If we do not love one another, our love for the world means nothing.
- Stand Firm in the Lord
- It’s not the storms of life, hurts and pains nor temptations that divide the church, but rather the lack of Foundation!
- Must stand on God’s Word.
- Must practice what God’s Word says.
- Be Reconciled in the Lord
- Unified church is not absent of trials, temptations nor pain, but practices Reconciliation.
- Reconciliation= Restoration of a Relationship.
- Eph. 4:26-27 Do not let your anger fester…Talk it out!
- Forgive one another as Christ forgives you.
- Reconciliation magnifies the witness and mission of the Church!
