1/26/2025 Who Can Stand? Revelation 7-8:1
Intro: Who Can Stand? Recap of Vision #2
- God’s Seal on His Children
- What does the Seal mean?
- Protection
- Identification
- Authenticity
- Given the ability to Stand before God.
- Who is given God’s Seal?
- I “heard” the Number 144,000
- 12 OT Tribes
- 12 Apostles
- 1000 (Incalculable number, yet complete)
- 12 x 12 x 1000 = 144,000
- Sees the Great Multitude (Ones who are given the seal)
- Every Nation, Tribe, People, and Language.
- Standing Before the Throne of God (Who can stand?)
- Salvation belongs to our God…
- White Robes and Palm Branches
- Where did these people come from?
- Came out the Great Tribulation
- John numbers himself among those who came out of the Great Tribulation.
- Every Believer (Sealed with the Holy Spirit) will experience trials and tribulations.
- The great tribulation will take place until the 7th seal is opened.
- Promises of those who are given the seal of God.
- Sustained, protected and provided for in our earthly tribulation
- In Glory, never experience hunger, thirst, suffering, confusion or grief.
- 7th Seal
- Silence for half an hour
- Awe of the finished work.
