As the shawl is stitched, the person making it prays for the intended recipient. After completion, the shawl is lovingly presented to someone in need, along with a note expressing love and concern and explaining that they are being lifted up in prayer. The prayer shawl ministry has recently expanded as well! In addition to prayer shawls, our ministry is knitting/crocheting scarves, hats, and mittens for the Center of Hope, Union Gospel Mission, and other ministries that provide warm clothing for the cold weather.

More than giving your money and prayers, Operation Christmas Child provides a hands-on opportunity for you to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Your shoe box is a physical demonstration of God's love that can open the doors for local churches to minister to the children and families in their communities.
