  • Mykenah Horstman (pray for the plans to get Mykenah fitted for a brace that she can wear at night)

•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (see note of praise below)

•Bonita Schwan, Norma Jansma’s daughter (serious health conditions and side effects from previous cancer surgeries)

•Lambert Van Olst (receiving treatments for leukemia)

•Andrew Perry, Anita & Curt Dieren’s brother-in-law (continue to pray for the remaining blood clots to dissolve)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Graham Johnson, great grandson of Don & Doris Calkins (is now 2 lb. 3 oz; family is grateful for prayers)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to experience some improvement; is now working on another round of physical therapy goals)

•Danny Bolerjack, Danielle Bouwman’s father (recovering from a stroke)

•Tony Schoneveld, Jessica Harman’s grandfather (has stage 4 COPD).

•Phyllis Te Slaa (recovering from knee replacement surgery; currently at the Rock Rapids Health Center)

•Missy Perkins (recovering from surgery; currently at the Rock Rapids Health Center)

•Greyson Austin (has started Humira injections every 2 weeks; pray for Greyson’s internal healing)

•Denise Roskam (pray that Denise’s cancer treatments will go well and be effective)

•Vicky Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (diagnosed with ovarian cancer; recovering from recent surgery)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt), Arlene Sterler (Robbie Korthals’ mother), and Jeremy Hespen, Merlin & Jackie Groen’s nephew (recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma).

A Note of Praise!Tanner Lincecum had a follow up appointment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on September 11.Tanner’s report was positive as he is doing better than expected.Tanner’s headaches are minimal, and his shunt appears to be working well.We praise God for this good news!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:We would like to inform you about 2 events in Sept. that will allow you to learn more about the ministry of Kingdom Boundaries Prison Aftercare.It would be great if you could attend 1 or both events.On Sept 15th, 2019 at 5:00 pm KBPA is hosting a hymn sing at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley.We will be having a few residents share their testimonies as well as having many of your favorite hymns sung.On Sept. 16th, 2019 KBPA is hosting its 5th Annual banquet at the New Life Reformed Church in Sioux Center.There will be a meal, silent auctions and live auctions, updates about KBPA, and residential testimonies.Fellowship time and silent auction is from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, dinner, testimonies, live auction and ministry update – 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

Hello Grace Circle Members!Grace Circle will begin meeting again after our summer break.Our next meeting is on Tuesday, September 17, at 6:30 pm.Carol De Noble will be our hostess and Bible study leader.Let’s all try to attend as we head into fall!

TO help kick off another fantastic year, we invite everyone to a pre-service breakfast.Serving begins at 8:00 am, and we will be serving eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls.Come enjoy some food and fellowship as we celebrate another year of our education programs!

Tuesday, September 17 Pastor Dan, John Hulshof and an elder will be attending the West Sioux Classis meeting at Peace Reformed in Sioux City.

Tuesday, September 24 Consistory meets as well as Deacons and Elders in separate sessions.

Bell Choir:Looking for a new hobby during Wednesday night activities?Come join bell choir!While your child is learning about youth club our youth group, come join us for an hour of enriching music and fun.No experience needed, we will teach you!Contact Erica Groen for more information.

5th Sunday PM Services:Faith Baptist Church will be hosting this month's Fifth Sunday Service. Please join us September 29 at 7:00 p.m. for an evening of music and meditation based upon Psalm 139.Light refreshments to follow the service.

Church Directory:We are updating our church photo directory.Photography dates are Oct 8-12 (Tue-Sat) and Oct 22-23 (Tues-Wed).Please note that we have added 3 additional photography dates (Oct 8, 22, 23). The women of Sioux Falls First will be hosting the 2019 “Enough Women’s Conference”.The theme this year is “Created with a Purpose”.The Conference will be held September 20-21 at Sioux Falls First.The main session speaker will be New York Times best-selling author, Karen Ehman.The second session speaker is Twyla

Our Operation Christmas Child supply drive is underway! Though our packing party isn’t until November, now is a great time to gather supplies with the Back to School sales.
