•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Bonita Schwan, Norma Jansma’s daughter (serious health conditions and side effects from previous cancer surgeries)

•Lambert Van Olst (is currently in remission with leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well with the Humira injection every 2 weeks)

•Denise Roskam (pray for continued healing from cancer)

•Vicky Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (is tolerating her chemotherapy treatments well)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (recently diagnosed with cancer on his leg)

•Lyle Kahl (recovering at home from surgery)

•Anita Dieren (recovering from a fall)

•Ruth Caswell (is currently at Lyon Specialty Care recovering from a fractured bone in her ankle)

•Jeanette Brower (hospitalized at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls for an infection)

Lost & Found:Please check the Lost & Found and see if there are items in there that are yours.We will be donating the leftover items to Atlas after March 1, 2020.Thank you

ALSO… The kitchen recently found some items that do not belong to the church and have put out a table with the items on it.PLEASE check it out and pick up your pieces.All leftover items as of March 1, 2020 will be donated to ATLAS along with the lost & found items.Thank you.

Calling All Care Elders!Our Care Elders Winter Gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.Our topic for the evening will be “Tending the Sheep:Strategies for Providing Spiritual Care”.We hope that this evening will be a time of learning and encouragement for you.There will also be time to share with your fellow Care Elders and to enjoy some treats.We hope to see you there!

A one day retreat for fathers is scheduled for February 29, 9am-4pm in Maurice, Iowa.The title is “Dad Tired”.It promises to be a great day.See the link for more information and how to register-

Are you looking for support, understanding, and tools to deal with your grief from the loss of a family member or friend?We have good news!GriefShare is coming!We will be offering this class at our church again this year, beginning on March 2 at 6:45 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.GriefShare features Biblical, Christ

centered teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one.The DVD videos include nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion about what was viewed.Please contact Sue or Val at the church office (712-472-3729) to register for this class.We hope to see you there!

The World Day of Prayer service will be held at the First Reformed Church, on Friday, March 6, at 1:30 p.m.The theme for this year is “Rise! Take Your Mat and Walk”.The offering will assist the sack lunch project of the United Methodist church, which distributes meals to families at the “Bread of Life” program.And to help with expenses for SALUTE (Sending Appreciation and Love with Unending Thoughts of Esteem), this group prepares boxes of miscellaneous supplies for our military, these packages cost between $17.00 and $50.00 to mail.

REGISTER FOR A HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME! Tri-State Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is accepting applications for the upcoming weekend at Carmel Reformed in Rock Valley, Iowa. TEC is an interdenominational three day Christian retreat designed to help high schoolers learn more about their faith and their community. The next TEC is March 6-8, 2020.
