Update on Greyson Austin:Greyson continues to do well on Humira.He is completely off the steroids, for which we are thankful.His appetite is good, and he is slowly getting back into shape.His stamina is not so good since he was bedridden so long.He has started using a fitbit and is counting the steps each day.We are so thankful for all the prayers from Rock Rapids.What a blessing to be part of a praying community.Even though Carrie and I have been gone for over 30 years, we still feel that Rock Rapids is a “home” to us.Thanks again for all the cards and prayers. ~ Mike and Carrie Austin, Dell Rapids, S.D.
Sympathy:We wish to extend our sympathy to Tom and Sheryl Bouwman and their family on the death of Sheryl’s father, John Gerber, on October 11, 2019.John’s funeral was held last Wednesday, October 16, at the Apostolic Christian Church in Lester, IA.
Thank You for your prayers and support this last year during my surgeries and recent treatments! I am humbled by all the cards, food, hugs, and many acts of kindness.You have blessed me through some very anxious days!! Hope Haven’s 55th Annual Society Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Hope Haven in Rock Valley beginning at 5:00 pm.Society members will have the opportunity to elect Board members, review recent audits and budgets, and receive the annual report on the ministry of Hope Haven.Hope Haven is a society owned agency; therefore, you are encouraged to exercise your membership and become involved in the business of Hope Haven.

Will take approximately 1 hour (1/2 hour for photo shoot and ½ hour for viewing and selecting photos). The photo shoot time will be for the directory but there is an option for a fun photo, baby pictures, pictures of the children, etc. if you wish
Photos may be submitted if you are unable to attend a photo shoot.
