•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Bonita Schwan, Norma Jansma’s daughter (serious health conditions and side effects from previous cancer surgeries)

•Lambert Van Olst (receiving treatments for leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Graham Johnson, great-grandson of Don & Doris Calkins (Graham has returned home and is doing well thus far)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well on Humira; pray for Greyson’s stamina to increase)

•Denise Roskam (pray for continued healing from cancer)

•Tony Schoneveld, Jessica Harman’s grandfather (has stage 4 COPD)

•Vicky Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (has started chemotherapy for ovarian cancer)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (recently diagnosed with cancer on his leg)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), and Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer).

Congratulations to Stefanie O’Leary on the birth of her baby girl, Harper Skye, born on December 19. She weighed 7 lbs and 13 oz, 21 inches long.Mom and baby are doing well.

*Please No Shaking Hands due to the cold and flu season.The upper respiratory and G.I. bugs are getting around.Thank you ~ The Rock Rapids Clinic

Anniversary Card Shower!The family of John and Ruth Van Aartsen request a card shower in honor of their 70th Wedding Anniversary which is January 10th.Cards can be placed in their church mailbox or sent to them at 911 S. Tama St., Rock Rapids. Thank you for helping them celebrate this special occasion.

Pastor Dan will be on vacation from December 25 - January 6.

Soup Supper Announcement:

Please join us on Wednesday, January 8 for our annual Soup Supper!Serving will be 5-7pm in the church fellowship hall.Soups, sandwiches and homemade desserts are on the menu!

Reminder- ALL SR RCYF members please report to church at your scheduled time.(You should have received a text with your time.)Also remember your $10 donation and homemade dessert.All desserts should be at church at 3pm on Jan 8.THANK YOU!!

Installation and Ordination of Elders and Deacons will be Sunday, January 12.

Attention All Volunteers:If you signed up last year, the volunteer calendar goes from March 2019 through March 2020.The new schedule will begin in April 2020.Thank you to all who signed up.There is still time to sign-up if you haven’t had a chance, we would love to have you join in and be a vital part of the church. ~ Thank You
