                                                      ANNOUNCEMENTS

Future Plans: As we approach the official end of our ministry here at First Reformed Church of Rock Rapids, we want to give the congregation an update on our plans. We hope to move to Sioux Falls to be near Sue’s 97- year- old mother. Because finding a home in Sioux Falls is very challenging right now, the consistory is allowing us to stay in the parsonage until we find something. So, we will still be in the community after January 31. We are waiting upon the Lord for where to direct our gifts and energy beyond retirement. Your prayers are appreciated for a house and focus! – Pastor Dan & Sue

Sympathy: We wish to extend our sympathy to Tait and Emily Anderson and their family on the death of Tait’s grandmother, Phyllis Anderson, on January 6. A private family service was held for Phyllis on Monday, January 11.

Joy Circle:  Please note we will not be meeting until further notice. We will, however, be collecting our yearly dues of $5.00.  You can place your dues in Darlene or Mary’s church mailbox.

Thank you. ~Darlene Aeilts and Mary Hoogers
