Join Praise Team and Tech Crew: We are welcoming new members! Instrumentalists, vocalists, sound crew, livestream, and presentation volunteers needed! Not sure? Join us for one rehearsal (8/25, 7:00pm) and one Sunday morning (8/29) without committing to a team yet! Informational meeting for all Wednesday, September 1, 7:00 pm. In the sanctuary, please contact Valerie Lenderink if you plan on attending: frcmusic@premieronline.net, or call or text 314-637-8383.
**Mark your calendars for August 29! We have reserved the Rock Rapids Swimming Pool for a night of fellowship and fun. EVERYONE is welcome to attend! We will also kick off registration for our fall programs. There is no cost to attend. See you there!
**It’s Operation Christmas Child time once again…and Back-to-School Sales are in full swing! It’s a great time to stock up on items for our OCC Packing Party on November 10th. Please visit the information table in the gathering space where you will find a supply sign-up. Items are requested to be at church no later than Sunday, October 31st. Please also prayerfully consider packing a shoebox (or two!) on your own. Shoeboxes are available for you to use. Thank you for your support!
ATTENTION: Welcome Back Grace Circle members! Also, welcome to anyone who might have an interest in an awesome circle. A reorganizational planning meeting will meet at Jean Fick’s home on Tuesday, September 21st at 6:30. Mark your calendars ahead. Any questions? Call or message Jean @ 712-540-8564.
Save the date! Night of Renewal is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 7pm in the First Reformed Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to join us for snacks and fellowship as we hear testimonies from Missy Bass and Heather Erickson, both of Hills, MN. These mothers are a part of Game Plan 4 Hope, which was started in Sept. 2019. It rose out of the hearts of two families who have been through life-altering experiences and felt the need to help others that are going through similar situations. Please join us in hearing their personal stories and the mission of Game Plan 4 Hope.
ADVANCE NOTICE: Our church is collecting Christian Literature for use in spreading God’s word throughout the world. A list of acceptable and unacceptable material is also included in the August “Bridge” to be sure your donation can be used. The donation list is also posted above the collection boxes which will be under the south coat rack from August 1- August 23. Thank you for sharing your gently used Christian material.
