 Summer Special Music: Musicians and Non-musicians wanted for Special Music for summer.  You can sing, play an instrument, dance, act, or share your song testimony.  A song testimony is telling us how God spoke through a song to you, what a song means to you, or how God used a song in your life.  Sign up in the gathering space or contact Valerie Lenderink, frcmusic@premieronline.net.

~The COLORS for 2021 VBS are: Tuesday June 8: Blue Wednesday June 9: Red Thursday June 10: Purple. so plan to wear the appropriate color for that day (not required, just for fun).

~MYSTERY ISLAND IS IN NEED OF SUPPLIES: A signup sheet will be in the gathering space, please consider helping out and signing up to donate. Please have your supplies to the church ASAP! Thanks

~We want to cover our week at Mystery Island in prayer. Jen Kock will be leading prayer in the prayer chapel on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9 am and noon and again on Thursday at 9 am. If you are interested in joining Jen in covering our children and VBS staff in prayer, please contact Jen or Amy Schulte.

~Our VBS program will be Thursday at 11:30am in the sanctuary with lunch to follow in the fellowship hall. ALL are welcome!

*Joy Circle will be meeting on June 16^th at 9:30am, instead of June 9^th in Rm 345.

REGISTER FOR A HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME! Tri-State Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is accepting applications for the upcoming weekend at the First Reformed Church in Rock Rapids, Iowa. TEC is an interdenominational three, day Christian retreat designed to help high schoolers learn more about their faith and their community. The next TEC is June 25-27, 2021. If you would like to learn more about TEC or register, please visit www.TriStateTEC.com or email Tri-StateTEC@gmail.com. The cost for the weekend $50 and includes a t-shirt & other special gifts. Scholarships are available upon request.

HERITAGE DAYS COMMUNITY CHURCH SERVICE:  The Heritage Days Community Church service will be held Sunday, June 20^th at Island Park at the shelter house by the swimming pool at 10:30 am.  Please bring your lawn chairs and enjoy worship with Pastor Keith Vik delivering the message.  Music will be provided by Anna Van Aartsen and Anna Warntjes, accompanied by Marilee Schneusner on the clavi nova.  The offering received that morning will be used for Council of Churches expenses which include a helping hand to transients, Baccalaureate service expenses, Heritage Days church service expenses and local benevolence donations as deemed necessary. In case of rain, the alternate location for the service is the First Reformed Church.
