Announcements for 10-24-21
~~I want to thank you First Reformed Church for blessing me with a special goodbye recognition. Thank you, Cheryl & the whole staff for the years of working together as we served the Lord Jesus & this Church together!
You all made my job so enjoyable with laughter, sharing & good communication.
Thank you again to Cheryl for gathering both Jr. high & senior high youth groups to help carry boxes & furniture from our attic, 2nd floor & basement. Your enthusiasm lightened our work load & blessed our hearts especially ending encircled in prayer. Deb & I were so blessed by your expressions of service & love! Thank you, Cheryl for offering to serve us in this way. And to the Mighty Men who showed up on Saturday morning to help load the truck! We can’t say thank you & God bless you all enough. Our sons were very blessed by everyone’s help as well!
What more can we say but God bless you family of First Reformed! You have taught us, supported, cared, shared & spiritually showered us with one blessing after another! Thank You!!!
We are settling in this friendly community & we say everyday how blessed we truly are!

~I am looking for volunteers to help serve the following midweek meals: November 10th and December 1st & 8th. If you are available any of those evenings, please text Amy S. Thanks!
Attention all coffee/ hot chocolate drinkers: Due to a shortage in supplies we are very short on the 12oz coffee cups with lids. We are asking if you could help us out by bringing your own reusable cups to church for coffee and hot chocolate and we would be happy to fill them here. Thanks for understanding!
Attention all women of First Reformed Church: In your mailbox or on our website under the ministries section under the Womens Ministry is a list of committee choices and a brief description that we need volunteers to help with. Please take time to prayerfully consider filling out this form. Let’s put our gifts and talents in motion. Please share your time and enjoy the fellowship of serving on a committee. Please review and select your top three committees. Please return to Nicole Gerleman by November 7, 2021.
Projector update: We have ordered three new projectors! Due to delays and shortages, we were told it may take up to 4 to 6 months to get the projectors. Your patience is appreciated as we all cope with one less projector. Thank you!
Testimonies needed: Is God nudging you to share your testimony? We would love to hear your story! We are looking for people to share their testimony at a night of worship in January. Please contact Valerie Lenderink for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text 314-637-8383.
COFFEE BREAK: We are still in need of a few more volunteers for coffee break. The signup sheet will be on the common ground/ coffee break welcome center. All cookies and juice are provided, all you have to do is serve it after church. So please consider signing up. Questions let me know. Thanks, Jammie email@example.com or 712-472-3729
