Announcements for 10-17-21
-- We are so grateful to everyone for their prayers, cards, kindnesses, and support for Wayne during his treatment for cancer. He has completed his chemo and radiation treatments. This past week he had a follow up appointment with the oncologist. He received the wonderful news that the Pet Scan was clear. He will have follow up checkups for the next two years, but everything is looking good now. We appreciate your continued prayers that he regains his strength and gets relief for the neuropathy in his feet and hands. ~Wayne and Geneva Grooters
--It is time again for us as a congregation to nominate and choose two new Elders and three new Deacons for the Consistory, the governing body of the church. While this may be a routine event, it is nevertheless very important to the life and direction of our spiritual family. Spiritual leadership is very determinative of the health and growth of the church and we encourage all our adult members to give it serious and prayerful consideration.
Please fill out your ballot located in your mailbox and return it to the ballot box located near your church mailbox by Sunday, October 24, 2021.
