Announcements for 10-10-21
Projectors: The south projector is broken. Until it is fixed, please find printed lyrics in the bulletin stand at the south sanctuary entrance. Thank you for your understanding!
Testimonies needed: Is God nudging you to share your testimony? We would love to hear your story! We are looking for people to share their testimony at a night of worship in January. Please contact Valerie Lenderink for more information: frcmusic@premieronline.net or call or text 314-637-8383.
COFFEE BREAK: We are still in need of a few more volunteers for coffee break. The signup sheet will be on the common ground/ coffee break welcome center. All cookies and juice are provided, all you have to do is serve it after church. So please consider signing up. Questions let me know. Thanks, Jammie frchurch@premieronline.net or 712-472-3729
*Girls League will be selling individually wrapped cinnamon rolls and serving coffee today the 10th of October at common ground and coffee break!*
It’s Operation Christmas Child time once again…and Back-to-School Sales are in full swing! It’s a great time to stock up on items for our OCC Packing Party on November 10th. Please visit the information table in the gathering space where you will find a supply sign-up. Items are requested to be at church no later than Sunday, October 31st. Please also prayerfully consider packing a shoebox (or two!) on your own. Shoeboxes are available for you to use. Thank you for your support!
Thank you: to everyone who donated their gently used Christian Literature in the past weeks. Most of the donations were Bibles, Bible Study books, daily devotionals, books and Sunday School materials. 39 boxes of material were taken to the drop off site at the Sioux Center First Reformed Church. All of the material collected in Sioux Center was taken to the International Christian Literature Distributors in Minneapolis over the Labor Day weekend. ICLD, which is run completely by volunteers, will send our donations throughout the world to spread God’s word. There is a collection box under the south coat rack for any donations you may have during the year. We encourage you to drop off your old “Words of Hope” in the box when you receive a new one. The list of items that can be used is posted above the box.
*Also due to the lack of staff. The International Christian Literature distributers will not be accepting any more donations for the next year for sure. See the October Bridge for more information. Thank you for all your donations over the past years!
We are looking for things to do: If you are in need of some assistance raking leaves, watering flowers, walking a dog, stuffing envelopes, vacuuming etc…. Please consider the My Day group with Hope Haven. They are looking for things to keep them busy and would love to volunteer their time. Please contact the church office and we will get you in contact with them. 712-472-3729 or frchurch@premieronline.net. Thanks
*The October Bridge is now available in the holder next to the mailboxes*
~~ We will not be putting the Focus on the Family brochure in the mailboxes anymore. If you would like a copy, you can pick one up in the holder next to the mailboxes. Thanks
Children’s Bulletins are now available by the regular bulletins each week. The bulletin goes according to the scripture for the week and there will be one for 3+ and one for 7+.
~Sunday’s bulletin will now be available via your phone. Just scan the QR code on the bulletin stands or the welcome center.
*Offering will be collected in the back of the church until further notice*

Attention all women of First Reformed Church: In your mailbox or on our website under the ministries section under the Womens Ministry is a list of committee choices and a brief description that we need volunteers to help with. Please take time to prayerfully consider filling out this form. Let’s put our gifts and talents in motion. Please share your time and enjoy the fellowship of serving on a committee.
Please review and select your top three committees below. Please return to Nicole Gerleman by November 7, 2021.
