* This morning we will be presenting our 2nd graders with their Bibles. Parents of 2nd graders are asked to come up front with their children for the presentation.

~A Special Congregational meeting will be held on May 22 during morning worship to vote on whether or not we want to call Rev. Steve Van Wyhe to be First Reformed Church of Rock Rapids next pastor. The Consistory needs the congregation to weigh in on this decision. Please be in prayer for Steve and for our congregation, that God's emerging future for our next chapter might be revealed in the process. *If you cannot attend the special Congregational Meeting on May 22, Absentee Ballots can be picked up at church office Monday -Friday, May 16-20 and must be turned in by Friday May 20 at 1pm in ballot box at church office.

Tri-State Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is accepting applications for the upcoming weekend at the First Reformed Church in Orange City, Iowa. TEC is an interdenominational three-day Christian retreat designed to help high schoolers learn more about their faith and their community. The next TEC is June 24-26, 2022 If you would like to learn more about TEC or register, please visit www.TriStateTEC.org or email TriStateTEC@gmail.com. The cost is $50 and includes a t-shirt, & other special gifts. Scholarships are available upon request.

Memorial Day Murph.  Whats that?  Want to learn more?

This year we will host our 3rd annual Memorial Day Murph challenge and you are invited.  This year we are organizing a free will donation for Megan Dreke in honor of her late husband Kyle Dreke and his service to our country.   You can donate directly to the Dreke Memorial fund at   https://gofund.me/f6e3663e  -OR- Scan the QR code to access the link for the Dr eke Memorial Fund and or to register for the event.   No registration needed to donate.    All proceeds go directly to Megan and her boys.  There is also a flyer posted on the community events board.  Any questions contact-Brian Osterday at brian.osterday@gmail.com or 712-578-6135.  Visit https://themurphchallenge.com, scroll down to “why we do Murph.”  We are not affilated with this orginzation.   You can also search for Rock Rapids Memorial Day Murph on facebook.
