Announcements for 10-2-22     

 **In your church mailboxes you will find information for 2023 Consistory Nominations.  Please prayerfully consider who you will nominate as Spiritual Leaders of our church.  Included in the information is:  Letter of Explanation that includes a list of members who are NOT eligible for nomination, a description of Roles and Responsibilities of the Office of Elder and Deacon, and ballots (one ballot per communicate member, if you need more, please request from church office). 

**Mark your calendar for November 27, 2022.  We will have our Annual Congregational Meeting that morning. At the annual meeting, the slate of nominees is placed into a Bible.  Following a time of prayer for the new members to be selected, each retiring Elder or Deacon will draw a name from the Bible to be read to the congregation.  

**Planning has begun for our Operation Christmas Child packing party. There is a sign-up sheet in the gathering space with the supplies needed to make this event a success. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Schulte. Thank you for your support!

Wednesday Worship: Join us for a night of heart-felt worship on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm, November 2, December 7, February 1, and March 1.

~ JUSTICE FOR ALL invites you to join us at the combined Annual Meeting/Fall Auction on Thursday evening, Oct 27 at the Parkview Events Center of Rock Valley, IA.  A great evening is being planned!  A delicious MEAL will be served from 5:00-6:30PM.  (A Freewill Gift will be taken for the meal).    At 6:15 there will be a BUSINESS MEETING which will include celebrating JFA ministry from the past year and looking at opportunities ahead, aa well as presenting a new budget and new board members.  Then at 6:30PM our FALL AUCTION will begin with Mark Zomer and company. There will also be auction items online from October 13-31 that you can bid on at zomerbid.com.   We hope you can join us for this important fund-raiser for JFA ministry efforts!!  ext membership retreat is Oct. 9.
