Announcements for 1-22-23

Thank you to everyone for the cards, acts of kindness, food, prayers and memorials during Elton’s illness and passing. We especially want to thank Chris and Kristi Wright and Amy Ryals for their visits to Mom at Premier Estates. It is a journey made easier knowing we are part of a loving and caring church. What a comfort t to know that Elton was prayed over from two churches!  ~Lucille Smit, Judy & Joe Gacke and the family of Elton Hilbrands

Reminder: Pick up your empty baby bottle today and bring it back full of change to support the Cherish House. The filled bottles must be returned by February 12th. Thank you!

*Church Directory:  I will have old directories on the welcome center to confirm addresses, phone numbers and information so that we can update the directory for 2023. If you could please put your initials or updated information on the printed directories that will help me to have the current info for the year. I would like to print by the end of the month. Thanks~ Jammie FRC Secretary

Worship livestreaming: We ask that you are patient with us as we work through our livestreaming issues. If you are un-able to watch during worship due to the buffering you can refer to our website following worship.                 https://www.rockrapidsfrc.org/services/

**With winter here we have a few reminders as far as cancelling worship. We will make announcements via Flocknote, Prayer Chain, Social-Media and the following radio stations KIWA Sheldon and K101/KQAD.  The same rules apply to our Wednesday night activities. (If Central Lyon and or West Lyon schools release early or cancel, we will NOT have activities that day, so please plan accordingly) Thanks for your understanding. First Reformed Church.

ATTENTION: the "Community Drop Boxes" at ATLAS are for items that are in good condition and not in disrepair? We are receiving a lot of items from the drop boxes that are soiled, broken, or that we are unable to accept. Clothing must be clean and free of holes for us to place into our store. Likewise, items such as electronics (TVs, computers, etc..) are not allowed to be sold and ATLAS is incurring the cost of disposal. Other examples of items that we do not accept are baby cribs, car seats, play pens, pillows, or used mattresses.

Registration is open for Inspiration Hills Bible camp! 2023 SUMMER CAMP THEME: LIVING WATER from John 7: 37-38 “On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, “Out of his heart will flow rivers or living water.” Our Hope and prayer is that everyone who comes to camp this summer comes to truly know what it means for us to come take a drink of the sustaining source of Living Water.
