•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Lambert Van Olst (is currently in remission with leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well with the Humira injection every 2 weeks)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (continues to battle cancer)

•Anita Dieren (recovering at home from shoulder surgery)

•Karen Flier (recovering at home following eye surgery on May 7)

•Bruce Hasche (had prostate surgery on May 20; now recovering at home)

•Lyle Kahl (continues to recover from recent surgery; will start treatment soon)

•Jack Axsom, Ashley Schwartze’s grandfather (discharged from the hospital and is now receiving physical therapy at home)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer), and Vicki Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (is tolerating her chemotherapy treatments well).

We welcome Webert and Kayla Raymond this morning to our worship service to give us an update on their mission in Simonette, Haiti.

Bulletins are now provided.We ask that your give your offering as you exit so that the money is not laying exposed in the plates during the service. We will continue to usher people in and out.

Pastor Dan will be gone on retreat this coming week, June -7.

Library News from Barb, Brenda, & Cheryl:

We recently did an inventory of the Church Library.We noticed that there are books being taken that have not been checked out.We’re glad the library is being used, but please follow the rules of self-checkout and leave the book card with your name on it in the appropriate box.Also if you are cleaning out your books and movies, see if any of them belong to the Church. Or if you would like to donate Christian books to Church we would love to look at them.

Hope Haven will be holding its Annual Fishing Benefit at Lake Francis Case, Ft. Randall Dam on Friday, June 5, 2020, rain or shine.Registration fee is $60 which includes entry gift and eligibility for weigh-in prize categories.Children under 16 are free.All proceeds will benefit Hope Haven Support Foundation.Registration is due by June 4.Participants should follow all social distancing guidelines as recommended by the state of South Dakota at the time of the event.For more information and to register, visit www.hopehaven.org/events or call Scott at (712) 476-2820.Come and enjoy a day of food, friends, fellowship, and fishing!

5th Sunday Services for Tonight:There will be NO Fifth Sunday Services with the Council of Churches tonight, May 31.

The Task Force has agreed to open up and allow small groups to meet for Bible Studies, Circles and other meetings. Social distancing should still be practiced by keeping group gatherings to small numbers depending on the room. We are asking that you call the church office to reserve a room. The rooms available include 345, the Children’s Center, and 107. We also ask that the tables, chairs and door handles be wiped down with wipes provided in the room. Please limit where you go in the building.

The Search Committee has posted the church profile on the Reformed Church in America’s website. They expect applications to be coming in which will be evaluated and discerned.

Next Sunday the Worship and Music Committee will give a report on a new part-time position created for a Worship and Music Coordinator.

Pulpit Supply – Calvin Ver Mulm from Center of Hope in Sioux Falls

*Cal joined the Center of Hope staff as its Development Officer in September 2015. Prior to that time he has served at Jackson County Ministries in Kentucky, Countryside Camp and Conference Center in Ontario, and Inspiration Hills in Iowa. He felt privileged to serve as a board member before being on staff. He is an ordained pastor in the Reformed Church in America.
