•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Lambert Van Olst (is currently in remission with leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well with the Humira injection every 2 weeks)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (continues to battle cancer; will meet with his doctor soon to discuss treatment options)

•Anita Dieren (recovering at home from shoulder surgery)

•Barb Hoogendoorn (see prayer update below)

•Lyle Kahl (is recovering at home from surgery)

•Dale Klarenbeek (is recovering from his fall and is back to work doing moderate jobs)

•Jack Axsom, Ashley Schwartze’s grandfather (see prayer update below)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer), and Vicki Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (is tolerating her chemotherapy treatments well).

Prayer Updates:Barb Hoogendoorn completed her heart-related tests.Barb has started to take some cardiac medication, and she is feeling much better.Jack Axsom, Ashley Schwartz’s grandfather, has returned home after being hospitalized for a brain bleed.He will continue to do physical therapy at home.

Prayer Request:Gertie Feller, one of our old church members, suffered a stroke last month at the age of 101.Gertie has been moved to a rehab facility and is receiving therapy there.Please pray for Gertie’s recovery as she continues to work hard in physical therapy.Pray also for her loneliness brought on by Covid-19.Cards of encouragement can be sent to Gertie Feller, Woodlyn Heights, 2060 Upper 55th Street East, Room 102, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077.

Classis Meeting:Dwayne Postma, John Hulshof and Pastor Dan will “attend” a virtual West Sioux Classis meeting on Tuesday, May 12.

FUTURE WORSHIP GATHERINGS: Governor Reynolds has given religious institutions the authority to decide when to re-assemble but with continued guidelines in force. A taskforce of Consistory members is meeting to determine how we can re-open and ensure everyone’s safety. Once something is in place we will communicate the plan to you. But be advised, things can change very quickly and more adaptations could be made. Meanwhile we will continue to life stream our worship services. ~ Pastor Dan
