•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Lambert Van Olst (is currently in remission with leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well with the Humira injection every 2 weeks)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (continues to battle cancer; will meet with his doctor soon to discuss treatment options)

•Anita Dieren (recovering at home from shoulder surgery on April 1)

•Barb Hoogendoorn (completed her heart related tests on April 23)

•Lyle Kahl (was discharged from the hospital on April 18; is recovering at home from surgery)

•Dale Klarenbeek (is recovering from his fall and is back to work doing moderate jobs)

•Jack Axsom, Ashley Schwartze’s grandfather (hospitalized in Sioux Falls and is recovering from a stroke)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer), and Vicki Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (is tolerating her chemotherapy treatments well).

Congratulations! to Bryce and Chelsea Hunt on the birth of their daughter, Natalie Rose, on April 17.We rejoice with you on this special blessing in the life of your family!

Sympathy:We wish to extend our sympathy to Carol Groen, Althea and Kyle Hooyer & McKenna, and Tiffany & Joey Clark on the death of Carol’s husband David on April 18, 2020.Dave’s funeral (private family service due to mandate) was held last Wednesday, April 22, at Jurrens Funeral Home in Rock Rapids.

Happy Birthday!Ruth Hocking will be celebrating her 90th birthday on April 28 and her family is requesting a card shower for her.Because of the pandemic, none of her children will be able to be with her on this special day.They were hoping that you would be kind enough to send her a card, note, or a call to help make her day special.

Congratulations! to Dave & Deb Markus on the wedding of their son, Jesse David, to Leah Faith Massman, daughter of Rev. Brian & Holly Massman of Dubuque, IA.The wedding will be April 30 in Des Moines, and will be held via Zoom because of the safety issues due to the Corona Virus.A wedding celebration and reception will be held at a later date.

Consistory Meeting for April:Consistory is planning to meet via zoom on Tuesday, April 28. Watch for a Zoom invitation.
