To All Care Elders!: Our Care Elder Fall Gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 23, at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our program for the evening will be “Care Eldering 202: Pitfalls that We Face”. This will be a humorous but informative presentation on “pitfalls” that might come our way as we serve and minister to our Care Groups. We will also have some delicious snacks for you and some questions to discuss around your table. We hope to SEE YOU ON OCTOBER 23!

Attention Prayer Warriors! We are looking for volunteers who are interested in praying with our Sunday School teachers at 10:50 AM each Sunday before they head into their classrooms. If you feel led to do so, please check out the sign up sheet on the table in the gathering space.

Sunday School Hour Nursery: We are looking for a volunteer to care for the children of our volunteers during Sunday School and Adult Choir. Please contact Cheryl or Amy if you can help one Sunday a month.

Operation Christmas Child: Psalm 96 tells us to Declare His Glory Among the Nations. Since 1993, Shoebox gifts have been collected in the United States and Canada. Those first boxes were distributed to Bosnian children suffering an ethnic war. Over the past 25 years, Samaritan’s Purse has delivered more than 157 million Operation Christmas Child boxes to children in need around the world. These tangible gifts of God’s love allow local churches to share the Gospel, transforming entire families and communities. It is again time to pack boxes! Boxes and other materials will soon be available at our OCC table in the gathering space, but you can start gathering items for your boxes now. Most of all, please pray. Pray that our congregation will pack several boxes, reaching many children & families for Christ, that our packing party will be a success and have an impact on the children of our community, and for all the many volunteers across the country and throughout the world to work to make this ministry a possibility.

Center of Hope: You’re invited to join us for dinner Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Sioux Falls Christian. Tony’s Catering will again be providing a wonderful meal. We will have a wonderful time celebrating what God has done this past year, hear how lives have been changed, and support the ministry of the Center of Hope. Tickets are only $10 and must be purchased in advance at 605-334-9789 or online at www.centerofhope.org. We hope to see you there!
