All: How good it is to sing praise and give honor to our God!

One: all of nature sings aloud of God's goodness… It is God who creates and sustains our world with his never ending love.

Prayer Of Confession:

One: Loving God, we gather today rich in blessings yet somehow believing you owe us the wealth and comforts that we enjoy.Forgive us, our God, for the attitude of entitlement.

All: Lord, have mercy upon us.

One: With our stomachs full of food we offer token gestures to the hungry in our world and feel we have done enough.Forgive us, God, for keeping a distance between "us" and "them" and closing our ears to the cries of the hungry.

All: Christ, have mercy upon us.

One: Father forgive us for clinging to our possessions rather than to you. Unite us with hearts of thanksgiving we may work to ensure freedom and justice for all.

All: Lord, have mercy upon us
