Notes of Praise!Brock Klarenbeek has recovered well from his chest surgery earlier this summer.Gail Hartter, Eric Hartter’s mother, has completed her treatments for cancer.Gail has received a positive report, and she is considered cancer free at this time.

Prayer Updates:Missy Perkins has been discharged from Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls.Missy continues to recover from surgery and receive therapy at the Rock Rapids Health Center. Lambert Van Olst is receiving treatment for leukemia.Thus far he is experiencing few side effects.

Hello Praise Team members!We will be starting our season of praise and worship on Wednesday, September 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary!We will be practicing our music during the month of September, and we’ll sing for the first time on October 6.Come for singing, fellowship, and praising God together!

Women’s Night of Renewal will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.There will be a speaker from the Cornerstone Prison.Root Beer Floats will be served.A freewill offering will be taken.

Adult Choir will begin practice!If you love music and love to sing, please join us in the choir room during the Sunday School hour on September 15.We will start off the fall season and hope to have a great year sharing your talents.We will be singing on September 22 and then on the 4th Sunday thereafter.Please come and check us out.I think you will be blessed by the time spent together in singing praises to God and his glory.

Every child needs a praying mom. What better gift could you give your children than to intercede on their behalf with our heavenly Father? Each week, women from around the world meet to lift their children and schools in prayer. We pray a 4-step, simple, conversational prayer that impacts the lives of our children in more ways than we may ever know. Join us this Wednesday, September 4 at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall to hear more about Moms in Prayer and how you can join a group. Often it’s when we step into fear with courage that we see the most blessed results. We pray you will join us, and bring a friend! (Grandmas are welcome, too!)

Registration Forms for Fall Programming - Planning is underway for our fall programs! If you have a child 6th grade and under, please pick up a registration form (one per child) on the table in the gathering space or from the church office and return it to Amy Schulte’s mailbox. You can also find a printable registration form on our website. We are still looking for a few volunteers, particularly small group leaders for Wednesday nights. Church Directory:It’s time to update our church photo directory!Our last photo directory was printed in 2015. We have new families, there have been weddings, babies, and kids who are young adults now. We’re changing and a new photo directory will help us capture these changes.Every family photographed receives a complimentary printed directory, access to our mobile directory and an 8x10 portrait. Photography dates are Oct 9-11 (Wed-Fri) 2-9 pm; Oct 12 (Sat) 10am – 5pm.The photography and portrait viewing will take place at our church with no sitting fee.You will have an opportunity to purchase additional portraits on the day of your portrait session. You should receive your pictures around the beginning of December.Your photography session will take about an hour, during which time you will check-in, be photographed and view your portraits. Adult Small Group Study:Please join us for a new bible study being offered this fall.We will be going through “Why I Believe,” by Chip Ingram.This is an apologetic series that looks at our faith’s big questions.What happens when we die?Can miracles be explained?Is there really a God?
