•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Bonita Schwan, Norma Jansma’s daughter (serious health conditions and side effects from previous cancer surgeries)

•Lambert Van Olst (is currently in remission with leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well with the Humira injection every 2 weeks)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (recently diagnosed with cancer on his leg)

•Lyle Kahl (recovering at home from surgery)

•Anita Dieren (recovering from a fall)

•John Ymker, Jody Vande Weerd’s brother (recovering at home following open heart surgery on March 5)

•Garlene Mulder (hospitalized with pneumonia last week; transferred to Rock Rapids Health Center on March 11 for therapy)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer), and Vicki Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (is tolerating her chemotherapy treatments well).

Our third GriefShare class will be on Monday, March 16, 6:45-8:45 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.Our topic for this session will be “The Journey of Grief – Part One”.Helpful information is shared each week about how to cope with the loss of someone you love.Please feel free to join us!

Memory Work:Next week, our 3 & 4 year old and Pre-K classes will be presenting their memory work.Parents:please have your children to their classrooms by 9:15 AM.When they are finished, the children will join their families for the remainder of the worship.Thank you.

MOPS of Lyon County Fundraiser, Saturday, March 21, 2020.We will again be painting canvases led by Jessica Hoefstra (picture of the painting will be posted in the discussion).There will be 2, 2 hour sessions, 10:00 – noon and 1 – 3 pm.Canvases will $20 and a smaller one available for kids for $15.Kids are welcome, but childcare is not provided and they must be supervised.Baked goods will be available for purchase to snack on while you paint as well!Come join us and bring a friend!For more information contact Cheryl Van Beek

"Church Between Borders" is an event encouraging a fresh way to talk about immigration. It will be on Saturday, March 28, at 9:30--11:30AM, at First Reformed Church, 4800 S. Tomar Rd., Sioux Falls. It will be co-hosted by New Roots Ministry and Dr. Jason Lief, professor at Northwestern College & representative of the Office of Social Justice of the Christian Reformed Church. Be inspired by personal stories, hear lively but non-political discussion, and grow in Biblical insight, all while enjoying ethnic treats.
