Prayer Update: Feanix is doing well! Thank you for all of your prayers! We are happy that he is on the mend, and we hope for an uneventful rest of the winter. –Joel & April De Wit and family

Update on Greyson Austin: Greyson returned to Mayo and was hospitalized on Friday, January 25. The doctor was planning to do a biopsy of the pancreas to find the source of his pancreatitis. In a miraculous turn of events, Greyson was able to start eating, and his pain disappeared. The surgeon found no reason to do the biopsy, and Greyson was discharged on Tuesday, January 29. His last surgery is scheduled for March 12. Thank you to all of you who pray for Greyson so faithfully. We feel your prayers! Please pray that Greyson will continue to eat and get stronger. –Marlene Mellema & families

Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to Gilbert and Leona Vanden Top, Rodney & Brenda Vanden Top, and Audrey & Gerald Postma on the death of Gilbert’s mother, Christine Vanden Top Kroon. Christine’s funeral was held this past Friday at the Christian Reformed Church in Rock Rapids.

Thank You: The family of Jack Gable wishes to thank you all for your prayers and support for Jack while he was battling Myasthenia Gravis, and your prayers and support for us as we dealt with the passing of our husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. The gifts and food were especially appreciated as well. – Elaine Gable, Lisa Vermeer, Nikki & Jerry Dvorak, Kevin & Beth Gable, Allison & Scott Van Aartsen, and families

To All Care Elders: Our Care Elders Winter Gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Our program for the evening will be “Tools for the Care Elder’s Toolbox”. Most of us have used a tool to help us accomplish a project or a task. Having a variety of tools gives us options as we work on a project. We hope that the “spiritual tools” we will discuss at our meeting will be helpful to you as a Care Elder. As always, you will have some time to share with your fellow Care Elders and to enjoy some tasty treats. We hope to see you on February 26!

Attention: We are being asked to not shake hands to prevent the spread of infections and the flu. We can still greet one another but in ways other than hand contact. ~ Thank you

Hearing Devices Available: Are you having difficulty hearing the service? Our church has a hearing assistance system. If you are having difficulty hearing during the worship service and would like to try a receiver, please check at the sound booth at the back of the sanctuary or with Dave Hulstein.

BABY BOTTLES are due back TODAY - February 3. All donations go toward the Cherish House Ministry. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Next Sunday, February 10, we will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion together in morning worship.
