•Pam Foster, Bob Dreke’s sister (coping with Huntington’s disease)

•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Bonita Schwan, Norma Jansma’s daughter (serious health conditions and side effects from previous cancer surgeries)

•Lambert Van Olst (is currently in remission with leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Graham Johnson, great-grandson of Don & Doris Calkins (Graham has returned home and is doing well thus far)

•Carol Groen (continues to be evaluated at Mayo Clinic regarding her lower back problems)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well on Humira; pray for Greyson’s stamina to increase)

•Denise Roskam (pray for continued healing from cancer)

•Vicky Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (is tolerating her chemotherapy treatments well)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (recently diagnosed with cancer on his leg)

•John Hulshof (was hospitalized and treated for blood clots; is now home; pray for John’s recovery)

•Lyle Kahl (recovering at home from surgery)

•Anita Dieren (recovering from a fall)

•Ruth Caswell (is currently at Lyon Speciality Care recovering from a fractured bone in her ankle)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), and Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer).

Calling All Care Elders!Our Care Elders Winter Gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.Our topic for the evening will be “Tending the Sheep:Strategies for Providing Spiritual Care”.We hope that this evening will be a time of learning and encouragement for you.There will also be time to share with your fellow Care Elders and to enjoy some treats.We hope to see you there!

A one day retreat for fathers is scheduled for February 29, 9am-4pm in Maurice, Iowa.The title is “Dad Tired”.It promises to be a great day.See the link for more information and how to register-

Christian Reformed Church Soup Supper!Our annual Soup & Pie Supper is coming up on February 5th from 5-7 pm at the Forster Community Building.Chicken, chili, pea, vegetable beef, and broccoli cheese soups will be served.Along with cream chicken buns and bbqs and of course homemade pies of all kinds.

Women’s Bible Study:You are invited to join other women in a 2 week study of I & II Thessalonians:This mini-session runs Feb 6 & 13; meeting at Faith Baptist Church on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:00.This mini-session is offered as part of a 9 month study of Act and Letters to the Apostles offered through Bible Study Fellowship. FAITH FELLOWSHIP WEEKEND AT CORNERSTONE PRISON CHURCH:

Due to the weather Faith Fellowship Weekend had to be cancelled and is now rescheduled for February 21, 22 & 23.The theme for the weekend is “Year of Grace” based on Titus 3:3-8.Join us for worship, large group talks and small group discussions.The deadline for signing up is Monday, February 10.We would be happy to have you join us for part of the weekend or all of it.If you would like more information or to sign up, please contact us at office@cornerstonepcsd.org or call 507-215-3670.Thank you for considering this wonderful ministry opportunity.Please keep this upcoming weekend in your prayers!
