•Tanner Lincecum (pray that Tanner’s shunt will continue to work effectively)

•Bonita Schwan, Norma Jansma’s daughter (serious health conditions and side effects from previous cancer surgeries)

•Lambert Van Olst (receiving treatments for leukemia)

•Karen De Noble, David De Noble’s mother (has been diagnosed with cancer; please pray for comfort as Karen goes through chemotherapy treatments)

•Graham Johnson, great-grandson of Don & Doris Calkins (has been re-admitted to Mayo Hospital in Rochester due to a breathing episode)

•Carol Groen (see prayer update below)

•Dalton Korthals (recovering from knee surgery on November 13)

•Thomas Bouwman, Tom & Sheryl Bouwman’s son (continues to make progress in physical therapy)

•Greyson Austin (doing well on Humira; pray for Greyson’s stamina to increase)

•Denise Roskam (pray for continued healing from cancer)

•Tony Schoneveld, Jessica Harman’s grandfather (has stage 4 COPD)

•Roberta Flier (recovering from shoulder surgery at home)

•Vicky Van Houten, Judy Netten’s sister (has started chemotherapy for ovarian cancer)

•Laura Stuerman (recovering from recent surgery on her Achilles tendon)

•Ray Schram, Jeff Schram’s father (recently diagnosed with cancer on his leg)

•Jordan Menning (recovering at home from recent back surgery)

•Joe Gacke (recovering from gall bladder surgery on November 26)

•Doris Calkins (hospitalized with leg pain at Avera Hospital in Rock Rapids)

*Your prayers are also requested for the following individuals who are coping with cancer:Melissa Moser (Kathy Moser’s daughter-in-law), Marilyn Kuyper (Ethanie Pulscher’s aunt; continues to be treated for cancer and is experiencing a lot of fatigue), Arlene Sterler, Robbie Korthals’ mother (Arlene’s cancer has moved to her lungs; pray for Arlene’s doctors to have wisdom as they care for her), and Trish Lombard, Tara Bouwman’s mother (recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer).

Prayer Update:Carol Groen has scheduled appointments at Mayo Clinic for consultation regarding her lower back problems.

This morning we are holding our annual Congregational Meeting to select new Elders and Deacons for the 2020 Consistory as part of our worship service.

First Reformed is in charge of the Care Center Services today.You are invited to come and assist in bringing residents to the service, hand out hymnbooks and help the residents find page numbers.Matt & Jen Kock and family are leading.The Health Care Center service starts at 3:15 pm and Lyon Manor at 4:00 pm.

Full Consistory meets on Thursday, December 12 at 7:30 pm.

The Northwest Iowa Symphony Youth Orchestra (NISYO), led by conductor Dr. Angela Holt, will present its Fall Concert on Saturday, December 14, at 3:00 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. Consisting of talented middle school and high school string players, NISYO will perform works by Handel, Hofeldt, Tchaikovsky, Meyer, and Spata, as well as an American Spiritual Christmas carol and music from the movie “Frozen”. The concert is free and open to the public.
