The Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra will present its popular WINTER POPS CONCERT: Piano Dreamer, January 26, at 7:30 PM in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. Composer, pianist, and conductor Jan Mulder will be joining the orchestra as guest artist for the evening. NISO’s Celebrity Conductor Contest will be held in conjunction with this Concert. Advance tickets are available at Evie’s Hallmark in Sioux Center. Dordt College’s Andreas Center will host song and modern-day hymn writer Sandra McCracken on Monday, February 4th as part of our First Mondays Speaker Series. This event and the series is free (though RSVP is necessary for the concert).

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY to be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Larchwood. The course will run from Sunday, Feb. 3rd-Sunday, March 31st (April 7th will be a make-up date). CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS! Crossroads Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is accepting applications for the upcoming weekend at the Reformed Church of Steen in Steen, Minnesota. TEC is an interdenominational three day Christian retreat/lock-in designed to help high schoolers learn more about their faith and their community.
