Introduction: Having made the strong case that human beings are hopeless sinners under God’s condemnation (v. 23), the Apostle Paul transitions to explain how God rescues us and declares us righteous/right in His sight.

Conclusion: God has done for us what we cannot do for ourselves in Christ Jesus and his cross. In the cross of Christ God reconciles His justice and His mercy, makes it possible for us to be justified, redeemed, and our sin atoned for which rescues those who believe from His just wrath.
