ETERNITY AMNESIA AND WORRY
Introduction:Amnesia refers to the loss of memories, such as facts, information and experiences.In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus speaks to “eternity amnesia” and how we fall into worry when we lose sight of God’s eternal kingdom.
I.EVERYONE SEEKS ONE OF TWO TREASURES
A.Treasures on Earth or Treasures in Heaven
1.One treasure is temporary and one treasure is eternal (vv. 19-21)

Conclusion:When our lives are lived seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and storing up treasures in heaven we are promised our earthly needs will be met.When we forget eternity and seek earthly treasure we will be gripped by fear and worry.
